SpareParts and Minerva Arts are creating participatory opportunities for audiences to engage with the bird, freedom and flight themes by contributing to a collective artworkthat takes inspiration from Movema’s Take Flight.
We have commissioned Visual Artist Sue Guilford to create a bird model for us before coming up with a way in which it can develop into a collective artwork for audiences to contribute to during the trail.
The model will then be exhibited at Crewe Library after the trail, for local people in Crewe to continue to engage with it.
Made from old buttons, plastic forks, broken pens and lids, but Recycled Rosie has no feathers! Help artist, Sue Guildford, to make Rosies wings complete.
