Postponement of all SpareParts Festival in 2020
We regret to announce that all SpareParts Festivals in 2020 will be postponed to a future date, yet to be decided.
SpareParts Festivals are delivered in each location as part of a wider festival, and following announcements by national and local government – and in times of such unprecedented uncertainty – our partner festivals have had to take the decision that their festivals will not be going ahead.
SpareParts remains fully committed to looking after our communities, artists, partners and staff and we fully support all our partners in their decisions to postpone.
We were so looking forward to welcoming you all to SpareParts this year and experiencing all we have to offer, and we can’t wait to be back!
If you have any questions please get in touch via admin@sparepartsfestival.
Please keep following our social media channels and we will post any updates on new dates as soon as we can.

Cancellation of SpareParts at Sandbach Transport Festival 19 April 2020
We regret to announce that the first SpareParts Festival of 2020 at Sandbach Transport Festival will not be going ahead.
SpareParts is part of the wider Sandbach Transport Festival and following announcements by the UK Government yesterday, including asking the population for increased social distancing and withdrawal of key services support for mass gatherings, they have had to take the decision that their festival cannot go ahead.
SpareParts is fully committed to looking after our communities, artists, partners and our staff and we fully support Sandbach Transport Festival in this decision.
We would like to assure all the artists we are currently working with that we will honour existing contracts and we are grateful to Arts Council England for their ongoing advice and guidance.
The SpareParts team are investigating new ways to deliver our participation activity so that even more people can join in whilst they will be looking for activities to do with their families.
If you have any questions please get in touch via email@example.com

Coronavirus – advice for participants in SpareParts Festival projects and events
We are currently planning for our festival season with our first large-scale event due to take place at Sandbach Transport Festival on Sunday 19 April. As yet the UK government has not imposed a ban on large gatherings.
However, your safety is our priority and we would like to reassure you that we are reviewing our plans in light of current guidance and we are taking precautions to lower the risk of becoming infected with Coronavirus as much as we can during smaller SpareParts Festival activities, such as workshops, in the lead up to the Sandbach Festival.
Planned activities will go ahead as scheduled but if we do have to cancel an event because of Coronavirus, then we will contact you in advance to let you know, where we can. Please check our Facebook Page, Twitter or website for updates.
We ask you to please help us in lowering this risk by observing these steps:
Please don’t attend a SpareParts Festival activity or event if:
You are feeling unwell or suspect that you may have Coronavirus symptoms, instead please visit https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 and follow medical advice.
You have recently visited an at-risk country and have not yet self-isolated. Information about international travel and self-isolation can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance
SpareParts operates within other Festivals and we also have to respond to our partners’ decisions. If our partners decide to cancel their event or the UK Government does impose a ban on large scale gatherings and we have to cancel any SpareParts Festivals this summer we will keep you updated through our social media and website.
