Cost: Free

What you experienced on our Superhero day… Circus acts, street painting, dance, Puppetry, Family art trail, Street games, and so much more.

Highly Sprung

Highly Spring are a Spareparts favourite, and we are thrilled to bring them to Oldham. Urban Astronaut will provide a glimpse of a future that might be… where problems surrounding air pollution have reached crisis point. Is there any way back? What can the Urban Astronaut learn from audiences now that might change his future? This is your chance to become an Eco Hero.

Look Up

LOOK UP by Hickapee is a circus puppetry show suitable for all ages. Playful and fearless, with a curiosity for birds and flying, Robyn reminds us all that we should always dare to look up.

ThickSkin Theatre

ThickSkin Theatre (Supported by Oldham Coliseum) will perform their new work, Shade which brings together seven unique characters in search of their true selves. It explores moments of self-discovery and acceptance against the backdrop of contemporary queer culture.

Expect cool moves, classic grooves and sassy shapes, for anyone who wants to get lost in music. Join us at the party, step out of the shade and onto the dance floor.

A family event, suitable for all ages and part of Oldham Pride 2021.

Taking Flight

Movema were commissioned by Dance Consortia North West, NOW Northwich & SpareParts to create a new outdoor work, back in 2019.

TAKING FLIGHT is an exciting, thought-provoking and spectacular outdoor performance which uses the concept of four symbolic birds to represent futuristic cyborgs, whose bodies are part aircraft, part bird, part human

My House

Come close and look in through the enticing doors and windows. Meet two strange looking figures, both with their own very different way of being. They provoke and play with each other, trying to find a way to exist together in this quirky looking house of “theirs”.

My House is a circus theatre experience for little people and their families. Through high technical circus and comedy two artists show us, in a playful way, that it is possible to understand each other even though we are very different.

After the show everyone is welcome to explore and play in the structure.
